Climate Change Heritage CIC
Who We Are
Climate Change Heritage CIC supports communities in endangered climate change areas worldwide — including the Middle East and North Africa — by providing online lectures, conducting research, and publishing academic articles. We work with universities, heritage authorities, researchers, journalists, and local people living in areas affected by climate change to help them understand its risks and offer measures to mitigate its impact.
Delivering online lectures and training to communities and researchers on climate change and its effects on heritage.
Conducting rigorous field and desk-based research on vanishing cultural landscapes across Iraq and the wider region.
Publishing peer-reviewed academic articles in leading international journals to advance the global evidence base.
Partnering with local people, heritage authorities, and international organisations to protect what is at risk.
What Drives Us
Every claim we make is grounded in peer-reviewed research. We hold ourselves to the highest standards of academic and archaeological practice.
The people who live in and around endangered heritage sites are not bystanders — they are partners. Their knowledge and needs shape everything we do.
We believe that research on climate and heritage must be accessible. We publish widely, speak openly, and engage with media to share what we learn.
Quick fixes are not enough. We build lasting partnerships with institutions, governments, and local organisations to create systemic, durable change.
Who We Work With
Our work reaches across sectors. The company's director works closely with all stakeholders, helping them understand climate change impacts and offering measures to mitigate risk.
